Jamaica - Beyond the Resort

The sunny island nation of Jamaica is teeming with stunning, sandy beaches and underground alcoves that are just waiting to be explored. With an affordable car rental you can of course traverse the entire island at your own pace, from Montego Bay to Kingston! Kingston

Montego Bay, the second largest city in Jamaica, is home to Doctor's Cave Beach. This beach is one of the most supreme on the island and is surrounded by low mountains providing stellar views. Spend some time here and enjoy four miles of soft, sandy beach. Heading east along the coast is the historic town of Falmouth. Founded in 1769, this town has the largest intact collection of Georgian architectural examples in the Caribbean. Farther down the scenic route to Kingston is Discovery Bay which is home to the Green Grotto Caves. These caves offer a historical view of the native Taino Arawak lifestyle. Before ending your road trip, make a southern detour to Spanish Town. Spanish Town is the previous Spanish and English capital of Jamaica. In this historic town you will find one of the oldest Anglican churches exterior of England.
