Bob Marley's Open Air House in Orlando - perfect For Reggae Fans

If you have any reggae fans and specifically Bob Marley fans in your house then you have to visit Bob Marley's Open Air House the next time you are in any place near Orlando.

The Open Air House is a Bob Marley themed night club located in Universal Studios' CityWalk entertainment area.

Kingston

The club is a replica of Bob Marley's home in Kingston, Jamaica, and members of Marley's house gave personal input into the create of the club. Inside the club you can view black and white photos of Bob Marley and there are also any videos on display, chronicling the life of this great singer and songwriter. The displays allow you to reflect on the message of Bob Marley's music: One love and the merging of social justice, racial harmony and humanity's greatness.

Once you have taken in the display and its sharp message it is time to step into the courtyard for some great vibes and live entertainment.

The open-air courtyard captures the feel of Jamaica and is the venue for nightly shows of live reggae music, starting at 8:00 Pm every night. The music is in case, granted by well-known national bands as well as by talented local bands. The atmosphere is great and the music is guaranteed to get your toes tapping and your body swaying. In fact, the music is so good that this club has come to be the most beloved dance venue in Orlando. If you love reggae and you love dancing, then this club will not disappoint you. While some population complain that the club is too crowded I guess that is price you have to pay when you find a venue that is as a matter of fact tops in its genre.

When is the best time to feel the club? If you come at 11:00 Pm you can enjoy the dancing at its peak and still have time to order supper (the kitchen closes at midnight).

Inside the club you can enjoy supper at a cafeteria serving Jamaican and Caribbean food and drinks. The food is spicy and one of the beloved dishes is the Fried Red Snapper which is dipped in Red Stripe tempura and served with fried plantains. Add some side dishes, like Jamaican rice and peas and you will have a great meal, but be meticulous to leave some space for a chocolate guava cake which is topped with fruit and caramel!

In addition, there is a souvenir shop with fullness of Bob Marley memorabilia on sale.

In case you are not well-known with the CityWalk area where the Bob Marley club is situated, this is a special entertainment area located in the middle of the Universal Studios and Islands of Adventures theme parks. It has a dozen venues featuring dancing, dining, and live music concerts. The CityWalk area itself has no admission charge, but the separate clubs, restaurants and doing venues may have cover charges.
